I haven't had a pastrami in a long time & was glad I stopped to get one to go.

Great consistent quality and service. I've never gotten a wrong order here nor have they ever forgotten anything. Their chili is great. I love getting chili cheese fries with pastrami on top. Their steak sandwiches are good, meat is tender, and come with a pickle (excellent pickle!). The burgers are great and larger than average. Their fries are always great. Not too crispy and fluffy on the inside. A small fry order is about 1/3 of their paper bags full, it's a pretty generous amount. Enough for 2-4 people, depending on how hungry you are.

The Pastrami was good, but the onion rings seemed dry and crispy I don't know if that is how they are to taste. The staff were really nice..

Been coming to this location for years! Me and my family enjoy eating at the hat even though prices have gotten a lot higher from before. Quality of the chillie cheese fries is top notch and so is there pastrami burger what they are actually very known for.

Cant stop by without getting those chile fries.

Love thise place, one of my preferred spots for a good pastrami sandwhich. Portions are very good and the chili pastrami fries is enough for 2 and well worth it.

Pastrami burger, definitely has pastrami on it and some of the best tasting I've ever had the pleasure of eating. Outdoor seating is perfect for southern California weather. Enjoyed it on a Saturday in late January on our way to Disneyland.

Normally this location is an awesome after work meal but today the food tastes awful. The chillie was bad so I had to throw the food out. Super disappointed and hungry

The food is awesome but I had to ask for pickles & they were thinly sliced instead of cut long parallel like the location in Alhambra. The chili fries were ginormous! Couldn't even eat it all even though I tried.

I've been coming to this place since I was young and the food has not changed one bit.Always a fantastic experience. It's a classic place and the food and the people that work there are the best

The food was very yummy, but a bit expensive. HOWEVER, one sandwich, one order of 🍟, and one drink was enough to feed 2 people. Great quality pastrami.

Best Pastrami sandwich,you have to try wet fries, its just gravy and fries, this hat is hands down better than any hat in the inland empire, there french rolls real make the sandwich

This is the go to Hat. They are fast and very good people that work here. Always a pleasure visiting this location. The food quality is always on point.

EXCELLENT Cheesburgers. Chili fries are also great. Not the cheapest place but makes up for it in portion size. For sure one of my favorite burger spots.

Good lord this is the first time I've been here and wow wow wow it sure delivers an amazing pastrami!! I could not believe the amount of food they put in your plate I was like holy sh#$! But it was simply satisfying after driving 2 hours it was bomb!! Amazing job guys with your accuracy and speed, and cleanliness. Great job and keep up the fantastic work. I will definitely go back for more if I'm In the area. However if anyone is in the area make it a point to stop!! Thank you crew at the hat on valley Blvd keep it up!!

Bring your appetite! Fast service and I definitely underestimated the portions. I would have been solid with a delicious pastrami burger, but felt obligated to get some chili cheese fries. Only thing was that there was another two pounds of fries. They were delicious though. Getting that all in Lyft to take have to hotel was difficult, but oh so worth it. Definitely what I needed after not eating all day.

Amazing delicious huge juicy pastrami sandwich made to order as best to consume right there in the world famous corner of Valley and Garfield.

CHILLY FRIES THE BEST

I pull over to buy some chili cheese fries and it was the worse fries I ever bought my kids said they were hard and it didn’t have enough chili and no cheese worse ten dollars spent I should of gone the one in temple city they never fail me there food is always fresh and they know how to serve won’t recommend this place

I'm sure the pastrami sandwich at this location is pretty delicious. I tried to order a pastrami sandwich, chili cheese fries, and a soda. It came out to like $25 and some change. I have no idea why an order of chili cheese fries is $10 and some change. The chili cheese fries are not that great and who the hell eats that much food in one sitting. Sorry to say but this price is absolutely ridiculous. If the chili cheese fries were actually that great it still wouldn't be worth $10 plus some change for an order of chili cheese fries.

Saw this on California throught my lense and decided to come and enjoy the original. This one closer to me. Came here and tried the roast beef with potato salad and it was delicious. So many great things to try I will definitely come back for the chili cheese fries and a pastrami sandwich. Can't say enough good the taste was amazing and great location as well. There was some seating outside which was great for me as I didn't want to drive back 25 min. They also sell grill cheese sandwiches.

The meals and service were above my expectations. I surely liked the vibes of this restaurant. Superb spot to take my family out for dinner.

This was a restaurant that does not have enough locations. My double burger was prepared as ordered and the portion size large. Next time I will order the pastrami burger.

Great place for a BIG pastrami burger. The portions of the food here is great but the price of some of the items are just too god damn high. The parking lot is big and you won't have trouble finding a spot even if it's super busy but the traffic of this place is horrible between the hours of 3-7:30 pm.

One of the greatest places to eat for sandwiches & chili cheese fries. They have the best barbeque beef sandwich I have ever ate! They also make an amazing large chilli cheese fries!!! The food is really delicious & the service is fast! It can get a little busy around lunch and dinner times but it's still worth the short wait! Plenty of empty parking spots as well!!!

No drive thu but good food no indoors but a nice shaded sitting area for customers to enjoy there food.

This place is awsome! The chili is great. Chili cheese tamale, chili cheese fries w/ pastrami...anything with chili is great. The portions are pretty hefty so you get your money's worth. It's a small walk up to order kinda shack, so no drive thru. This is my 3rd visit and I still haven't tried everything but so far I've had the chili cheese fries, chili tamale and the chili cheese dog. I will be back for a 4th visit to try their burger.

The Hat it's the best! They have the best pastrami I Make the drive all the way to The Hat from the Downey Pico Rivera area for ONE OF THE BEST PASTRAMI I have ever had! If you're in the area of one and fancy pastrami make the stop you will love it 🤤 I order the a dip pastrami extra pickles.

Loved it! First time eating at "The Hat" had me there famous pastrami sandwich I will tell you what, I am most definitely coming back there not famous for nothing can't believe I have never been here before. I had there Onion Rings and the fries and it was also 💯👌🤙👍👊
